God's love

So this morning I was hit by the undeniable guilt of not reading the Bible lately and decided to really get into it today. I came across a good verse Which is Colossians 3:15, "
15 And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful."
I love this passage but the thing I really get from it is the ending, " And Always be thankful. " That we have to be reminded to add kindness to everyday living. It's one of the hardest things to remember to continue to show God's love around others you know or have never spoken too. To some people loving others comes naturally, but to most, It's the totally opposite. If your reading this, I would recommend reading the whole chapter of Colossians 3. It will stretch you in a way that is for the best. Another great passage that blew me away was Hebrews 2.
This passage explains Jesus's crucifiction in a new light that I have never thought of before. Since Jesus tasted and suffered death for us, He is now crowned with Glory and Honor.

Hebrews 2: 10- " 10 God, for whom and through whom everything was made, chose to bring many children into glory. And it was only right that he should make Jesus, through his suffering, a perfect leader, fit to bring them into their salvation."

The fact
that Jesus calls us His brothers and sisters blows my mind. The fact that the God of the universe calls us His Sons and Daughters is to hard for me to even comprehend. God's love is bigger than Us, then what this world can offer and who are we to even be contestants of accepting that? God is Love.
